Sara Wallace is a believer, wife, #boymom, adventurer, RYT-200, current RYS-300, and Young Living Crown Diamond. She & her husband, Justin, love calling Claremore home!
Sara completed her Power Vinyasa 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 and immediately began teaching vinyasa-based yoga classes in downtown Claremore. She also has experience/training in teaching Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yoga Trapeze, and Gravity Yoga.
When it comes to fitness, “Yoga has always been there for me,” she describes. “Yoga taught me how to breathe. Yoga was the first exercise I could do after a pelvic injury. Prenatal Yoga relaxed muscles I didn’t even know were tight during my pregnancy. Hot Yoga has given me more strength, flexibility, and endurance than I’ve ever had in my life. Many days, my practice on the mat saves my sanity, and probably my liver.”
Sara is highly driven by encouraging women to know and live their purpose, in wellness and abundance. – Sara Wallace, Owner
“After discovering barre in 2018, I quickly fell in love with the challenge and results. It wasn’t long before being inspired to take Cristi McKinney’s barre99 Instructor Training.
I strive to make each class challenging yet accessible and always fun! I want my students to know that no matter where they are in their fitness journey, there is always a spot for them at the barre.”
Jody Reiss is an experienced group fitness instructor, whose love for fitness began in 2009 while trying to make it through a deployment. She started with cycle, then quickly added bootcamp and kickboxing. Anytime life knocked her down, she found a place in the fitness world and her faith in God.
Jody holds a Sports Management degree from Rogers State University (go Hillcats!), and has taken workshops from AFAA, Fitour, Schwann, ACSM, and NETA over the years.
When not teaching fitness, she loves spending time with family and friends outdoors, having nerf wars with her son Blake, and serving the Claremore community by being active on many boards and committees.
Jody’s yoga journey began in 2018, and in 2019 she decided to begin working towards her RYT-200.
Yoga was a hard sell for her, because taking a moment for herself and to be still was not in her nature.
“Once I gave into the process, I found it was a great place for me to be at peace with the chaos that surrounds me in life. Over the years, I have learned that there is so much more to yoga, it truly is a mind body connection.. and the fact is our bodies keep score of all the events in our lives, good and bad. Through our practice we can come and leave it all on the mat!”
Debbie began practicing yoga approximately 20 years ago at the Yoga Room in Tulsa and went on to become Claremore Rec Center’s first yoga teacher. She continued her yoga education by weekly practicing in studios, studying, VHS tapes, DVD’s as well as taking every workshop that came through Tulsa! She fell in love yoga and passionately wants others to help others fall in love with yoga too.
Debbie believes that yoga is for everyone, every shape, every age! One of her greatest strengths as a teacher is her genuine love for people and her light hearted humor. Debbie is now a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher whose certifications include Yin Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy (TIYT), Yoga In Action Training, Hip Hop Hatha, RECESS + children’s yoga, and The Body in Trauma.
Debbie offers the use of props for safe alignment, a secure foundation, balancing, stretching and strengthening. She hopes you will meet her on the mat and share this ancient practice so the benefits of your yoga practice will benefit all those around you.
Nichole is the proud wife of an amazing husband and mother of two beautiful children. She decided to pursue a lifetime of fitness training and nutrition coaching after years of struggling and attempting to navigate what was simple-mindedly a “number on the scale”. Her previous thinking of weight-centric goals quickly shifted to health-centric goals when her health began to suffer.
As a Dietitian/ Nutritional Therapist, she had to, personally, bridge the gap between theory and application. These growth experiences have provided the various perspectives that help her relate to others in many stages of life.
As an ASFA® Certificated Personal Trainer and ASFA® HIIT Instructor, Nichole leverages her postsecondary education, life experiences, and passion for helping others to educate and encourage others throughout life’s journey.
When Nichole is not teaching, she enjoys making memories with friends and family, playing volleyball, and cheering her family-owned race team into Victory Lane.
Nichole brings 13 years of experience teaching various bootcamps and fitness classes including High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Kickboxing, and Piyo.
HIIT classes taught by Nichole focus on burning fat, building muscle, and improving metabolic and overall health.
